I've been a regular at Bar Pitti in Manhattan since the late '90s, and while I was there last week, feasting on my usual funghi saltati, I could not help but feel like I was back in the late '90s. Because pretty much every female diner there was wearing a slip dress! And now I am game to give it a go again, too. It's the ideal dress for these humid summer days, and I love how it's so easy to layer with an oversized cardigan, sweater, hoodie or blazer.
