Back in LA—the quiet after the fashion week storm. No more downtown jackhammers and sirens, just the whirr of leaf blowers and waves lapping the beach. I’ve returned with an extra garment bag full of new/borrowed treasures, but the clothes that carried me through the week deserve their own shoutout. The MVP's: my Madewell jeans, above, (30% off right now, seriously stock up!) that I wore to coffee runs, fashion shows, dinners to Frenchette and Odeon, plus multiple meetings at San Vicente West Village. I also leaned hard on my red satin Reformation sandals, which somehow worked with almost every outfit and garnered 5,000 compliments. (Turns out it is all about a red shoe (from this to this), a red sweater (this one sale or this one in my dreams!), and now, of all things—thanks to TWP's 2026 spring collection—a red eyeglass-holder necklace I promptly ordered on Amazon.) That TWP bugle bead top I wore to the show? A zillion DMs--and a cameo on Vogue, no less. (Yes, it’s as good as you think, immediately below.) The Loulou Studio blazer I bought for $100(!) that I wore to Kallmeyer's show yesterday is the perfect weight for NY and LA’s not-quite-fall evenings, above. My new Gucci bag became an instant conversation starter with Net-a-Porter's sharp-eyed buying manager Lydia Zacharis and finessed my 9 to 9 daily routine. Then there was the Sea vest, layered over the most versatile Tory Burch dress, paired with pointy-toe heels that I walked miles in (no joke) and had a friend clicking “buy” post-show. And I can’t not mention my current obsessions with the pictured J.Crew cords that I spied at a show (now on sale), more cute cords that my friend was wearing (understandably, almost sold out!), the new necessity for a yellow rain jacket (hello, Spring 2026 Kule, TWP, plus gold statement bangles (that can even frame your watch) from Charlotte Chesnais. Fashion week is over, but the outfits—and the inspiration—are sticking around.
