One telltale sign that the world is rumbling back to life: bumper-to-bumper traffic on PCH! Makes me want to stay ensconced at home, especially in the new Urban Outfitters's curved boucle chair, above! And loaf around in these cute $40 Levi's jeans and this billowy Free People blouse (I also love this one from Farm Rio) and, while I'm at it, pick through the virtual sales racks at Nordstrom. Happy Hump Day!

Bikinis and shorts suits don't exactly go together like bread and butter, but, hey, I'm all for going with the flow! Perhaps this new cover-up trend is rooted in pandemic PTSD? In any case, the shorts set is thoroughly relaxed and easy and ours for the taking. Shall we pull it off with these cute sets from Apiece Apart, Ganni, Birds of Paradis, Antik Batik, Loretta Caponi, and Soot the Label (above)? I say let's go for it!

My sister hit Cabazon's designer outlet mall on her way home from Palm Springs the other day and scored the most excellent pair of last-season (and sold out everywhere!) Loewe jeans. Now that the pangs of jealousy have subsided, I'm happy to one-up her with this epic white jean score from Khaite. Take that, Coco!

Ulla Johnson's consistently stunning streak of wanderlust-spirited designs has rightfully earned her a cult following. (See her latest drop here!) Of course, her signature look has also spawned less expensive lookalikes, and, you know what, it doesn't hurt to check them out: the ruffled maxi, above, is a knockout, with its batik print and floaty feel. Also compelling are these by Spell, Farm Rio, Zara, Roller Rabbit, Sika, and A.L.C.

Spring break kicks off today, and I am so ready to break away! I'm heading to Hawaii, where I plan to surf (in this and this) and beach in this Vix, Ulla Johnson, and Zara (below). Apres-sun, I'll play in the Goop stunner, above, and this floral Misa. I'm hoping to finally tear through this book and listen to this podcast. Expect dispatches from paradise! Aloha!

I recently discovered @parisiensinparis, an Instagram account that features Parisiens and their everyday, on-the-go style. Even with France's borders closed and Paris in another month-long lock-down (with restaurants, bars, cinemas, gyms, museums, theaters and concert halls closed!), it's inspiring to see the city's intrinsic chicness still prevailing. Some highlights here, along with the clutch items that are keeping it all afloat, such as Saint Laurent's must-have Le Maillon bag (second and last pic down), sleek sneakers (Nike, Reebok, New Balance), the made-for-layering denim jacket, a wear-over-everything Acne Studios long coat, and versatile boots (this, this and this).

The last time I was in Hawaii I went to a vintage store and scored some amazing vintage surfing t-shirts and sweatshirts. And now I'm hooked! I love how designers like Tory Burch, above, and Urban Outfitters, below, are now making vintage-inspired tops that essentially make an outfit! Other great finds come from Daydreamer, Madeworn Rock, and Mother.
