paris prime time
Wednesday, October 1
Paris Fashion Week is more than runway spectacles—it’s also a glimpse into the closets of the chicest Parisians. What I'm loving most: the dominance of muted palettes broken by a single decisive pop of color (like a bright knit), all kinds of stripes (Reformation has the best Miu Miu riffs), and accessories that punctuate (note Celine's bamboo initial pendant making a comeback--find a good inexpensive dupe here!). To channel the Gallic energy, I am inspired to add some standout pieces that shift everything around them, such as the houndstooth blouson jacket by The Frankie Shop, above, this very-Hermes looking chain print skirt (I'm actually wearing it today!), this faux leather Asos jacket, this Heirlome tunic (a fave of Lauren Santo Domingo), and this Cara Cara sweater/jacket hybrid. P.S. One of my most power-shifting denim skirts by Tory Burch is 25% off (last pic), along with this chain-trimmed crewneck, and this mirrored statement skirt.

There’s something about slipping on the right jacket that instantly elevates even the simplest outfit. Which may justify why I have more current options than LA's weather warrants--and why I am eyeing some more: the very Chloe-like H&M denim jacket, above, and faux fur, below, the quilted scarf jacket by Cos, the double-breasted trench coat, the suede-effect Source Unknown bomber, and this River Island.

Fall always brings a wave of “new,” but this season feels different. It’s less about chasing another round of trends, but rather shopping for pieces that strike the rare balance between fresh and lasting (my case in point, above, during NYFW!). Net-A-Porter’s just-out edit is full of options that could easily carry me forward year after year: sharp tailoring that doubles as everyday uniform, boots that ground everything, outerwear that’s more investment than indulgence. I’ve been bookmarking the kind of staples I will still be reaching for years from now, which include these Alaia wedges that I spotted on my chicest friend in New York, this extra Dries Van Noten blouse in lieu a white button-down, and this statement-making fringed Toteme jacket. Shop them all here.

new blues
Monday, September 29
The Monday blues are decidedly the good kind this week, because all the jeans I love and live in (let’s just say it’s edging toward a dozen—don’t judge!) are now on sale, thanks to Shopbop’s Style Event (15% off $200+; 20% off $500+; 25% off $800+ with the code STYLE). Among them: these super flattering AGOLDE (also in this wash), these classic Levi's, these high-waisted, leg-lengthening Pistola, and these most-comfortable, forever-cool Mother jeans. Of course, the discount extends beyond denim to other autumn essentials, namely my other go-to's like my Le Bop jacket, below, this BlankNYC moto jacket, this striped polo, and these Staud suede boots. Shop it all here.
nada prada
Friday, September 26
Can we take a moment for Prada's “not-pajama” pajama tops that basically stole the show in Milan yesterday? They’re crisp cotton, they’re chic, and they’re… $2,350. Yes, for a shirt that looks suspiciously like the one I wore to bed last night! I’ll be over here dusting off my J.Crew pajama top and pretending it’s Prada. Spoiler: no one’s the wiser. Let's move on to Prada's drawstring leather bag (read: next big thing) that accessorized the shirts outside the show and on the Spring 2026 runway: they're rendered in myriad eye-popping shades from lavender to green to pink--and a variation can be had right now at an extremely wallet-friendly price from Cos, Parker Thatch and Calvin Klein ($39!). Speaking of attention-grabbing accessories, I wore my new Dorsey moissanite Theodora necklace to my niece's wedding last weekend and was told at least 20 times how brilliantly sparkly and beautiful it was. (Apparently, moissanite, a lab-grown gemstone, is birefringent, meaning light can split into two beams as it passes through, dispersing more light than a diamond.) Let's just say it upstaged more than a few sequins on the dance floor--and, okay, outshined their hardware, too! P.S. Even the small drop earrings are super radiant--such a good (self) gift! P.P.S. I've been wearing both these bright and shiny pieces everyday--not just to dress up! That's all I have this week! Much, much more on Monday! Until then, I'll be wearing my jammies!

colorful covers
Thursday, September 25
On a glossy burnt-orange runway in Milan yesterday, Prada unveiled what’s next in our colorful fashion future: bold shades of green, purple, turquoise, pink, baby blue, red, yellow, lavender, and, yes, black, too. The color story is a continuation of this season’s pastels-meet-winter-greys, but sharper, splashier, more decisive. The must-haves? A blouson jacket in powder blue, car coats in alabaster pink, oversized shackets in shamrock green and a nylon jacket that lemon yellow we saw in New York— all classic cuts made modern with color. Of course, I went straight to Etsy to source some vintage (instant gratification) options (scored this, pondering this), but also found the $109 Lioness (last pic), this yellow Banana Republic barn coat, and this pink/mauve Le Bop.

pink li
Wednesday, September 24
Turns out the real star of NYFW wasn’t on the runway, it was in the front row. Le Catch’s top-earning link of the week? A pair of pink corduroy pants from J.Crew. I spotted them on a fellow attendee at Kallmeyer, above, and was too intimidated to ask where she got them. But ever the intrepid shopper, I sleuthed them down for you—and several dozen pairs later (including one in my own closet), they emerged as the week’s highest-converting item. They also happen to be on sale right now. In any case, pink is back, baby, and so I am digging with the striped knit, below, this Le Bop jacket (I wore the tan/blue version earlier this week), and this Hill House Home cardigan.
