beverly hills benefits
Wednesday, February 26
Temporarily staying at my sister's home in Beverly Hills has come with an unexpected perk: noticeably better skin and hair. For that, I have my well-researched 16-year-old niece to thank. Her bathroom shelves are a meticulously curated collection of products—sourced from viral TikTok recommendations (most of which I’d never heard of), endorsed by her sophisticated, beauty-savvy friends in LA and NY, and vetted through her own rigorous trial-and-error experiments. Put it this way: even her hand soap is carefully chosen. Some of her favorites have now become mine, taking up permanent residence in my everyday Tory Burch carry-all, above. They literally spruce me up when I am cheering on my boys at their school volleyball games or heading out for lavish lunches at The Polo Lounge. The winners: this game-changing Mighty Fine Brow Pen by Benefit (guess what I have perfect brows now!), this Crown Affair throw-on-and-go mousse that adds a kind of texture to my hair I never knew possible plus this magic oil for my always-dry strands. This shampoo and conditioner duo by ROZ is the only reason I am wearing my hair down more these days. She also turned me on to Innbeauty Extreme Cream (the most hydrating moisturizer pretty much ever) and this everyday-clear semi-gloss from Necessaire. The cool-on-contact steel tip is everything--just like my niece.

home game
Tuesday, February 25
It feels like a lifetime ago when I visited Brigette Romanek's stunning Los Angeles home. I can’t quite remember whether it was for a playdate with our toddlers (who are now in their late teens!) or simply a casual catch-up, but what I do remember vividly is being captivated by her impeccable interior design. The floor-to-ceiling bookshelves in the library, the leafy atrium adorned with her daughters' guitars, and the inviting hammock-style chaise lounges all left a lasting impression. It’s this unique ability to blend livable comfort with refined elegance that Brigette now brings to her latest collaboration with Crate and Barrel . Even though I don't have a house to call home at the moment, I seriously want to buy everything! I'd love to sit back and relax on on her wood framed sofa (upholstered, no less, in "Palisades Fabric"--meant to be for me!), with my cup of hot mint tea perched on the travertine coffee table. I want to sit down to a home-cooked meal at her oval wood and travertine dining table and crack open a new book on tufted daybed or curl up in her cozy-looking U-shaped chair. And the lighting? I'll take it all for brighter days ahead! Check out the entirely chic collection here.
miami nice
Monday, February 24
My trip to Miami may have been short and sweet, but I still managed to squeeze in a week's worth of outfit changes. After all, isn't the whole point of a getaway to show off all those new (and old) clothes you don't see the light of day back home? P.S. I also went boating, biking, running, treated myself to a facial, and hit genius level on the New York Times Sunday Spelling Bee. So, what did I wear--and love? The lace cover-up meets dinner-out dress from ba&sh, above, the silk scarf Callas blouse, below, this fringed Pixie Market, the bigger-than-it-appears Tory Burch bag, last pic, with a punchy Clare V bag charm, the halter Banana Republic dress, this Conglio Palm Beach wrap skirt (I have multiple!), this Kule canvas bucket bag (that I am still carrying around back in LA), and the Left on Friday sky-blue bikini, last pic.

coming in hot
Thursday, February 20
Stepping off the plane in Miami last night felt like landing in the heart of summer: hot, humid and leaving me wanting to wear next to nothing. Maybe that's why I'm craving this Loewe shirt (that can double as a mini dress!)--light, airy and effortlessly elegant. Also sunshine-ready: the cute cut-out Sandro and the (under $200) eyelet VRG GRL set.
made well
Thursday, February 20
Picture this: I've got six minutes to pull off a photo shoot--right after making breakfast for my kids and right before high-tailing it to the airport for a cross-country flight. Total chaos, right? But these jeans made it work! This new pair from Madewell don't just fit well; they get me! They flatter in all the right places, go everywhere I need to be, and strike the perfect balance between comfort and style. Plus, they photograph like a dream! P.S. I'm actually wearing head-to-toe Madewell.

I'm back from Jackson Hole and so is my Substack! After a three-day stretch of crisp Teton air, powder-fresh runs, and the kind of stillness that stirs up novel ideas, I'm returning to newness, below: the $15 Mango faux fur scarf, the H&M linen drawstring phone bag, the eyelet jeans, the Mille leopard-print coat, the double belted Pixie Market skirt and the leather-strapped Dorothee Schumacher dress.
spring ref
Tuesday, February 18
It's 28 degrees outside, snowflakes are falling and my quads are on fire from yesterday's non-stop powder runs--however, all I can think about is spring flinging: lapping up sunshine, showing some skin, and breezing around in warm weather style. In this ideal spring-y world, I'd be head to toe in Reformation's just-out collection, featuring the denim bomber, above, the eyelet two-piece set, below, plus these cute gingham cropped pants and this linen mini, ready for all the rays!
