It's officially a t-shirt summer. They still go with everything, but now they do a little more: inject an outfit with ease and a sense of in-the-know intention. And they go places: to the London launch of Chanel's Arts and Culture Magazine, above and below, and shout out posh, thanks to Kule, to the Upper East Side. Larissa Mills, last pic, is working her striped Cos in Italy, while I am planning for this (the ruching), this (the color), this and this (looks vintage).

This summer jewelry doesn't stop at the ankle--it starts there! I'm going to dress my steps in sparkle with anklets that accent, toe rings that pop, and sandals that shine. Chan Luu enhanced my new Reformation satin sandals and Chi Studio pedicure yesterday with a beaded turquoise and teal charm anklet plus a fun crystal emerald toe ring. Even Tory Burch is in on it, with just-out sandals that come pre-adorned—doing the accessorizing for you. Get blingy, but make it effortless.

Thanks to my IG feed, I just learned that today Jupiter—the cosmic king of luck—is shining its big benevolent light on us, marking the luckiest day of the year. As in: a cosmic nudge to start saying yes to the dreams we've been quietly sketching out. Summer style manifestation included! Coincidentally (or maybe celestially planned), Dôen and J.Crew just dropped new collections today. Jupiter moves in mysterious, well-dressed ways, apparently. I'm taking advantage in Doen's floral maxi, above, which I tied just below the waist. I also want to realize my dreams in this and this. J.Crew-wise, highlights include the go-with-everything lace-trimmed tank, blue wedges and a white top.

There’s something almost magnetic about Ulla Johnson’s signature pieces—those artisanal embroideries, vibrant prints, and feminine silhouettes that practically announce themselves in a crowd. They’re recognizable in the best way. But what I’ve been loving lately are the Ulla pieces that feel a little more off-the-radar, unidentifiable even—but no less exquisite. Perhaps they're even more elegant and elevated but in that same easy-to-wear Ulla way. And as fate (and fashion karma) would have it: some of these desirables are on major sale right now, including the embellished coat/dress (yep, that's right, which comes unadorned too), above, and, below, the crochet maxi, the lace-up color-block dress and the ruffled top. Speaking of sales, Saks' designer sale is officially on, and it’s flush with Ulla—both the statement-makers and the stealth-stunners—as well as a host of other covetable labels (score #1, score #2, score #3).

heat wave

This weekend’s heat wave didn’t thwart the fearless fashion front. From Positano’s sun-drenched piazzas to Manhattan’s molten crosswalks, the looks were fire. Lace fluttered in the breeze, short shorts reached new altitudes, crochet clung to hope and hydration, and leopard print roamed free like it owned the block (it did). Here's proof (and major inspo) that a true style warrior doesn’t sweat the heat—they serve it. Pictured: black lace shorts with white lace trim (or white!), red hot shorts, short white slips, a cape-accented crochet by Doen, Cara Cara leopard print, Posse gingham, and black Prada mini.

weekly wrap-up

It's challenging to keep track of the random gems I pick up during the week (much less retain the information!), but lately I’ve been making a point of aggregating little bits of info that feel too useful not to share. So here’s a catch-all post this Friday for the sartorially curious, the chronically online, and anyone who loves a good insider tip.

The Sartorialist is in Florence for the men’s shows, but if you scroll through his Instagram, it’s clear the women are the real stars. I’m taking notes: perfect tank top + midi skirt = summer uniform, show up in sheer lace, sleek Quay sunglasses can in fact carry an outfit—and screenshots to share here.

Adina Reyter is staging an archive sale through 6/22. This rarely happens, FYI. Snap up this and this and this--before they vanish.

How to shop The RealReal like an insider. This comes courtesy of a former employee who kindly spilled the tea in her Substack, Driving Shoes. It reads like something that should be behind a paywall, but here are highlights, free and fab: New arrivals drop twice a day, around 10am and 7pm EST--the ideal times, she says, to pounce on emerging, up-and-coming brands. “Coming Soon” doesn't necessarily mean that it is coming soon. But you can messenger customer service via live chat and nail down status. Today I found these just-dropped gems: Hermes for $300 and this Oscar de la Renta for $80.

Most-clicked links this week on Le Catch? This Left on Friday swimsuit (thanks to Gwyneth Paltrow) and these Pistola Denim jeans I was photographed wearing the other day.

Derek Blasberg launched a Substack called And Another Thing. Reading it feels like sitting at a booth at The Polo Lounge with Derek, "gabbing and caffeinating." Love.

Next time I'm in NYC I want to go to Demo and Bar Bianchi.

Lauren Sánchez bought 27 Italian designer dresses for her wedding weekend in Venice (June 24), according to this article. Twenty-seven. I thought I was the queen of options but she wins. And then some. I secretly hope she has thisthis, and this at the ready.

Happy weekend!
